Garden design and creation focusing on the use of natural materials and thoughtfully selected plants. We offer tailored designs covering all aspects from patios, paths and seating to flower beds, ponds and wildflower meadows.
Our many years experience building gardens as well as a strong focus on horticulture means we can offer careful technical construction as well as the plants to complement and enhance it.
Our projects strive to be sympathetic to existing conditions to produce spaces that work for the environment and our clients.

Offering a design and build service for anything from small gardens to field scale plantings.
We specialise in designing and creating gardens and landscapes that take inspiration from natural plant communities, such as meadows, prairies, wetlands and woodlands.
Working closely with our clients our garden designs aim to balance aesthetics and utility whilst providing valuable habitats for local wildlife.
We offer plant selection, sourcing and planting, considerate landscaping, bespoke wooden pergolas and trellises and consultations at any stage of a project, whether it be from scratch or redesigning an existing area.

CREATING THE GARDEN
From initial conversations through to the final plantings our clients play a crucial role in shaping and refining their project.
Our approach focuses on selecting the right materials and combinations of plants to suit the environment. We design as much as possible with what the garden already has to offer.
Designing with plants means we concentrate on creating a variety of forms and colours throughout the year and develop something our clients can interact with on a more personal and emotional level.
Working with local materials and existing features enables our gardens to have the maximum visual impact with minimal inputs.
ABOUT
David's education in sustainable horticulture and forestry has informed much of his work as a gardener. After many years commercially growing organic vegetables he gradually moved into the private garden sector and has continued to work designing and building garden spaces, from orchard meadows to walled cottage gardens.
